The
Dallas Diocese Academic Curriculum has been adopted by James L. Collins Catholic School. It meets and exceeds the state curriculum regulations for other public accredited schools in Texas. The Texas Catholic Conference of Education accredits Collins Catholic School. The curriculum offers the student a challenging and well-integrated program of study. In addition, a variety of instructional programs and methods provide students with learning experiences and opportunities to develop their potential. All students are taught problem-solving and critical thinking skills and are given the opportunity to participate in enrichment activities that challenge every child in every classroom. Students are charged to become creative, future-oriented thinkers.
The curriculum places emphasis on:
A Christian education in a Christian environment
Moral and spiritual values
Academic excellence
Individualized attention to the greatest extent possible.
