School Parents and Volunteers:
Your cooperation in the Safe Environment Program ensures your participation as a parent volunteer. It is our top priority to keep our children safe from harm while at James L. Collins Catholic School. Our diocesan safety policies are rooted in the Catholic understanding that each individual must be respected and honored. Our policies cover four areas of possible harm: immoral conduct, exploitation, harassment and abuse. In Texas, each person is a mandated reporter of abuse or neglect, which means that if you (or our staff) suspect abuse you are required by law to report it. The Child Abuse Hotline number is 1-800-252-5400, or call the police at 911. If you see something which makes you uncomfortable, or violates policy, please bring this immediately to the attention of our Principal.
